Princess Diana dressed with John Travolta at the White House for £ 350,000

All the collections of the late Princess Diana are sold at the highest price at international auctions for charitable projects.

Every dress she wore has a special occasion and tale, the latest of which she danced with handsome Hollywood actor John Travolta at the White House.
The dress worn by Princess Diana when she danced her famous dance with American actor John Travolta at the White House for 20 minutes, is scheduled for a price of 350 thousand pounds (453 thousand dollars) on December 9.

The Princess of Wales was impressed by Hollywood fashion professionals when she wore a dark blue velvet evening dress designed by Victor Edelstein at the then official dinner hosted by then US President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy in 1985, according to the Daily Mail.

Footage of her dance to the music of Travolta's successful film "Saturday Night Fever" spread all over the world. John Travolta described the experience as "like fairy tales."

Diana's favorite dress was seen wearing it on at least four other major occasions, including an official visit to Austria in 1986 and an evening at the Royal Opera House in 1991.
She also appeared in the photo taken by Lord Anthony Armstrong Jones, Lord Snowden in 1997.

In June 1997 - just two months before her death - Diana auctioned the dress for £ 100,000 (about $ 175,000) to raise funds for AIDS charities.
Businesswoman Maureen Dunkel, from Florida, bought the dress and kept it until she went bankrupt in 2011. Maureen then offered the dress for auction, but it was not sold.

Finally, in March 2013, the dress was sold to a British man for £ 240,000 (about $ 311,000) and reportedly bought it as a gift to delight his wife. This is believed to be the last time the dress was available at auction to date.

The dress is being sold again with the London auction house Kerry Taylor Auctions, which she describes as “one of her most famous dresses”, and put an estimated pre-auction price of £ 350,000 (about $ 453,000), and many are expected to come and watch. This distinctive dress up close.
