In Japan: KitKat isn't just chocolate!

Given the popularity of KitKat in Japan, it is clear that marketing geniuses at Nestlé, which runs the brand, have succeeded in harnessing a small detail in favor of their product.

The unique and exclusive flavors, developed specifically for the Japanese market, have created a loyal customer looking for these products, some of which are sold exclusively through the airport shops to tourists.

KitKat first arrived in Japan in 1973, but the brand's paradigm shift took place at the turn of the millennium, when the marketing department of Japan's Nestle, the manufacturer of KitKat Group in the country, decided to do a different experiment with a range of new flavors in an attempt to increase sales, which was what they had.

These are some of the exotic and exclusive Japanese flavors of KitKat chocolate, which are sure to shock you like me:

Strawberry KitKat

KitKat was pink to become a big gamble anywhere else in the world, but in Japan it's different. Strawberry is the symbol of Japan's innocence and beauty, and Kate Kan was made with strawberry flavor by covering Kit Kat chips with colored milk chocolate by adding a soft strawberry paste.

It was first introduced in Hokkaido - coincidentally and by chance - at the start of the strawberry season. Since then, the company has released nearly 400 other flavors, some of which are only available in certain areas of the country, which tend to encourage a sense of exclusivity and rarity.

Matcha-Green Tea KitKat

Dried green tea has moved from one of its specialty beverages into traditional tea ceremonies, to one of the most popular flavors of Kit Kat chocolate in Japan, and the company is currently planning to introduce it to the British market.

Certainly, NestlĂ©'s development team explained, explaining the product: “Why don't you go any further and test out uncharted areas that no one dared before?” Nobody except NestlĂ© in Japan has done this amazing blending.

Matcha chocolate flavor with green tea, very similar to local grass with a slightly bitter taste, I think this is good for green tea lovers. I feel that the two great flavors of this land (chocolate and tea) have been combined into a small piece of candy.

Red Bean Sandwich KitKat

You may be a fan of the red bean sandwich, but what about offering it as a flavor to KitKat fingers ?! Of course, Japan is Japan again, why stop at the red bean? Why don't we have the red bean sandwich flavor in the KitKat group?

Kitkat fingers are tied to a bean sandwich in the Japanese city of Nagoya, where the sandwich originated as a sweet snack and toaster hidden behind a smoky flavor, in a tea shop in the early 20th century.

She then slowly made her way to the cafe's menus in the area, and achieved wide fame, until she reached the flavor of Kit Kat chocolate.

Brown Sugar Syrup KitKat

I do not know what the Japanese love brown sugar syrup! I never imagined that such chocolate was turned into a creamy color.

Cinnamon Cookie KitKat

Well, this isn't particularly unique, but I like cinnamon, so it's okay to add cinnamon to some sweets and baked goods, especially when it comes to white chocolate.

I find it a distinct flavor, just a perfect little bite of cinnamon will serve its purpose, the deliciously sweet chocolate and the iconic taste of cinnamon is a great combination.

Hot Japanese Chili KitKat

With this distinctive flavor, spices will reach your life through the fingers of chocolate, it seems that the combination of chili and chocolate and the subsequent sense of the warmth of the mouth of the Japanese people's favorite!

Edamame Soybean KitKat

Can I tell you that Edamame's flavor is soy ?! One of the few rare vegetables that managed to get the seal of approval to be manufactured as KitKat fingers, to achieve wow for those brave and adventurous. When you visit Japan to try it out, and if you don't like it, taking a picture will suffice.

Citrus Golden Blend KitKat

If you love citrus, then this option will definitely appeal to you. The Kit Kat fingers with a citrus flavor filled with wonderful chocolate, and you end with this wonderful taste bitter taste that we all know and love of lemon and orange!

Pear KitKat

It is usual for this role to be played by green apples, being an outsider on many varieties of sweets and baked goods, but to be pear this strange! Here comes the KitKat flavored pear with a subtle taste with a light bite and sweet taste.

Purple Sweet Potato KitKat

Well, nobody on earth hates sweet potatoes, right? So the Kitkat with a potato flavor and a chocolate blend was irresistible. Note that there is also a baked potato kit!

Blueberry Cheesecake KitKat

This flavor is sure to appeal to cranberry cookies, especially with the addition of KitKat chocolate.

Cheese KitKat

This flavor is very interesting. Trying what will happen when chocolate is paired with cheese is worth thinking about, especially if you are a cheese lover, so if you have the chance to try, don't hesitate for a moment.

Royal Milk Tea KitKat

It's always fun to eat traditional KitKat flakes with milk tea. What if they are combined in chocolate fingers for a complete experience? It certainly tastes great.

Plum Soda KitKat

The acidic flavor of plum with soda sprays, all together in a harmonious blend with sweet white chocolate, this rip will inevitably have a great place for lovers of regeneration, exclusivity and the experience of each stranger.

Cola and Lemon Soda KitKat

Really cool! There is no better than this! Collect 2 in 1, cola and lemon soda! Not even 3 in 1. A totally refreshing flavor with delicious sweet chocolate.
