Marseille beat Lille and move up to third in Ligue 1


Marseille moved up to third in Ligue 1 after beating Lille 2-1 on Saturday in the 12th round of the competition.

Marseille have 19 points to climb to third, after they were sixth in the game, while Lille have 18 points in fourth place.

Marseille took the lead in the 47th minute through Morgan Sansom, before Lille defender Gabriel Magales scored an own goal in the 79th minute.

In the 83rd minute, Adama Sommoro scored Lille's only goal to cut the gap to one.
