A first look at Aamir Khan in the film quoted for Forrest Gump

The form of Aamir Khan has been unveiled in the film based on the American film Forrest Jump, where he will play the same role previously played by Tom Hanks in the American version of the film.

Under the title, Laal Singh Chaddha, the new Indian version of the Oscar-winning Tom Hanks classic produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions has been reproduced. The project is currently being filmed and is scheduled for release on Christmas 2020.

The first look shows Khan in the role of a simple Sikh man with the ability to attend events that change history. The film is made up of top stars such as actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and directed by Advit Chanda.

The American version was directed by Robert Zemex, and Forrest Gump achieved critical and commercial success when it was released in 1994, winning six Academy Awards, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor for Hanks. The film was based on the 1986 novel Winston Grom of the same name.

When the new version was announced earlier this year, Paramount Studios official Andrew Gambert stated, “We are thrilled to work with Amer Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios and to see them bring this timeless story to a new generation of audiences. “

“With Amer's passion for this subject for many years, he is the perfect partner to realize this dream,” added Ajit Andhare.

In a career spanning more than three decades, Khan starred in some of Bollywood's biggest films, including the wrestling drama Dangal, which also set a record in China.

Bollywood is currently working on several remake or reproduction projects for Hollywood films, including upcoming new releases The Fault in Our Stars, which has just been filmed, and a new version of the musical drama of Keira Knightley and Mark Ravlow's film Begin Again, co-produced by Abundantia Entertainment.
