Chelsea get away with a killer scenario in front of Watford

Chelsea continued their strong showing by beating Watford on Saturday 2-1 in the match at Vikarage Road in the 11th round of the Premier League.

Thami Abraham scored in the 5th minute and Christian Pulisic scored in the 55th minute, while Watford scored the only goal in the 80th minute from the penalty spot.

With that victory, Chelsea have 23 points, climbing to third place, while Watford have frozen at five points at the bottom of the table.

Chelsea started the game aggressively, opening the scoring in the 5th minute, after a brilliant long pass from midfield by Giorgio, struck by Watford's defenses, and Abraham scored the only goal and put a falling ball over goalkeeper Foster.

The first attempt came to Watford in the 15th minute, with a powerful shot by Pereira from inside the box, caught by Kiba.

Mont started in the 17th minute with a shot from outside the box, hit the defenses of Watford to reach Abraham completely solo goalkeeper, but he fired a ball directed by Foster to a corner.

From the corner kick, Pulisic rose to Willian's cross, firing a neat header into the far right corner.

Pachway attempted to win the match to kill the game by scoring the third goal, after Foster alone in the 89th minute, before the defense of Watford out the ball at the last minute.

And Watford almost scored a deadly goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time, after the goalkeeper Foster advanced, cross the ball, a powerful header Kepa successfully blocked, ending the game Chelsea 2-1 victory.
