Germany beat Croatia four back from afar and tied to qualify for the Netherlands


In the Euro 2020 qualifiers and for the third group, Germany managed to qualify for the tournament after beating Belarus 4-0 at the Prussia Park in Mönchengladbach. Germany, who were level on points with the Netherlands and rivals from Northern Ireland, needed to win in order to qualify in the first or second place and had what they wanted thanks to the brilliance of Real Madrid midfielder Tony Kroos scored twice in the game.

Germany suffered in the first half of the confrontation and could not decipher the defenses of the guests only at the last minute through defender Gunter scoring his first international goal. Meanwhile, in Group E, Croatia returned from a distance to beat Slovakia 3-1 and secured qualification for the tournament. Croatia delayed at home and among their fans in the first half of Buzinic d 32 but scored three goals in the second half through Vlasic d 56, Petkovic d 60 and Perisic d 74.

The Group G meetings ended with Austria beating Macedonia 2-1 and Poland 2-0 over the Zionist entity. These results gave Poland the qualification for the first group with 22 points and Austria with 19 points in second place.
