Mourinho: I will not repeat my mistakes .. I do not need new players

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has said he expected to return to the world of training in the middle of the season after missing a year.

Tottenham signed Mourinho to replace Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino, and his first game for the team on Saturday against West Ham United, in the 13th round of the Premier League.

"I had the feeling that I would be back in the middle of the season," Mourinho told a news conference on Thursday evening.

"I knew I would be in a situation where I would only have a day or two before my first game. I can't come here and think about myself. It's about the players and moving from a stable base."

Mourinho was asked if he felt a better coach, although he has been out of action since he was sacked from Manchester United. "I think so, but I had a chance to think about many things. I realized that during my career, I made mistakes and I won't repeat them. New".
