Bournemouth bring Manchester United back to defeat

Manchester United returned to the whirlwind of disappointing performances this season, losing to Bournemouth (0-1), on Saturday, in the opening of the 11th round of the Premier League.

Joshua King scored the only goal in the 45th minute.

Manchester United have 13 points, temporarily in eighth place, while Bournemouth have 16 points and temporarily climbed to sixth.

Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdell dominated Marseille's shot in the seventh minute.

The home side replied in the 13th minute, when King swung in from the right after getting rid of Lindelov before returning the ball in front of the goal to Lerma, who hit the defenders.

Callum Wilson got the ball on the right, breaking into the penalty area and trying to score, but goalkeeper David De Gea stopped him in the 16th minute.

James fired a powerful shot, which passed past Bournemouth goal in the 21st minute.

King sent a ball over United's defense to Frazier, who overtook Wan-Bisaka before shooting in De Gea's 27th-minute stop.

The rhythm of the game was slightly calmed, and United players demanded a penalty after the fall of Marseille, but the referee did not count.

In the final minute of the first half, Bournemouth scored the lead, when he smashed a low cross in front of the goal, in which King received the ball, and lifted over Wan-Besaka, before a great shot in the net.

Bournemouth began the second half as a striker, and Smith sent a ball towards the other side to Frazier, who fired a shot dominated by De Gea without difficulty.

Ramsdell saved his own goal from Pereira's powerful shot in the 57th minute.

Callum Wilson sent a right-footed rebound from Maguire and almost hit King, but Di Gea pulled it off in the 63rd minute.

Harry Wilson struck a free kick close to the goal in the 68th minute.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made an attacking switch, involving Jesse Lingard in the place of Pereira, but Bournemouth kept up the pressure on his defense. De Gea stepped in to save Harry Wilson's 75th-minute shot.

Norwegian coach Mason Greenwood took James's place, and the substitute almost equalized in the 82nd minute, but his attempt after a cross from Fred rebounded from the post.

The remaining minutes passed without real chances, ending the game with the win of the hosts (1-0), bringing the Red Devils back to the cycle of defeats.
