Besiktas "drops Galatasaray by knockout."

Besiktas secured a tough victory over Galatasaray (1/0) on Sunday in the ninth stage of the Turkish Premier League.

In other matches of the day, Malatya Sport defeated Kayseri Sport (4/0), Qasim Pasha (4/1) and Denizlispor (2-0).

There was a goalless draw between Besiktas and Galatasaray for 68 minutes, and then Omut Nayir settled the match in favor of the first, depriving Galta from entering the competition strongly with the front teams.

Besiktas have 12 points in eighth, while Galatasaray have 13.
